Creative Google+ Hangout #2
This last Monday night, I joined a great group of composers for the launch of my Creative Google+ Hangout series of international video chats. It was a terrific group of Creatives, and we talked for an hour about a bunch of different things, including the responsibility of authenticity as artists, the government's role in art, how to stay musically true to yourself, how to talk to directors/producers about music, and much more.
The Next Creative Google+ Hangout
Mon, Feb 13 · 11am PST
I'll be hosting another CG+H this coming Monday, February 13... but I'll be changing the time to make the talk more accessible for those of you across the pond.
Monday's Creative Google+ Hangout will happen at 11:00am PST.
Space is limited, so please read through the rules below and act now to secure a spot.
What You Need to Do
There are a few things you need to do if this sounds like something you might be interested in:
- Leave your Google+ name as a "comment" below this post. DO NOT message me on Facebook, Twitter, or through email with your Google+ name. I won't keep those if you do. Leave it here on this page.
- Tell me what you do for a living. Are you a composer, an actor, a director, a painter... what? This is for Creatives, and Creatives only. If you are an accountant, sorry. If it ends up being a long-running thing, I'll start an "Accountant Hangout" in a few weeks. Just kidding. If you are an accountant, you're screwed.
- Be there on Monday, February 13, 2012 at 11:00am PST (sharp!) and be logged into Google+. I'll have already sent you an invite to the Hangout, so if you aren't logged in at 11:00am PST, I'll give your spot to someone else who is.
These hangouts are a perfect way for you to get networked in with a group of working Creatives engaged and moving forward in the creative arts arena. I moderate all the sessions, but I will call on you to bring one issue that you are dealing with in your own creative business that we can bounce around the group for discussion—so be ready. The group is 100% confidential and is not recorded or transcribed in any way—only the artists in each individual hangout are privy to what goes on in their particular session.
See you there!
